"Berger Anisette" Opaline / Milk Glass Advertising Ashtray - '60s

Funny triangular ashtray of French origin, dating back to the 1960s. Devoid of manufacturing indications, the accessory, in bright yellow milk glass, shows on the sides the black branding «BERGER anisette», historical anisette of the enterprise, originally Swiss, established in 1830 in Couvet (Canton of Neuchâtel) by Charles Frédéric Berger, specialized, at first, in the production of absinthe, then, after the ban on manufacturing and moved to Marseille, switched to distillation of anise-based aperitifs.
