Interesting 1:43 scale die-cast reproduction of the British Bedford RL 3-ton military lorry, reference number 621 of the legendary Dinky Toys brand. Produced between 1954 and 1960, the article for sale, in die-cast zamak alloy, featuring rotating wheels, tow hitch, detachable metal tarp and funny driving miniature soldier, imitates in detail the sturdy Bedford RL truck, backbone of British Army road transport between the mid-1950s and the end of the 1960s, showing four-wheel drive, high ground clearance and 3 (actually, 4) tons payload. Reporting some dents at the paint of the fenders and various points of the cab, as well as a slight halo of rusting at the front side of the tarp - see photos -, the model still holds, however, a healthy structure and all of its parts, in addition to a nice general color. A good occasion to get the hands on a great Dinky Toys classic, still made in England, at a competitive price!
