Curious 1:43 scale die-cast reproduction of Soviet GAZ-60 half-track, USSR made, dating back to the 1970s-1980s. Manufactured in die-cast zamak alloy by Dvigatel' (“Engine”) industries of Leningrad, the model, with black livery, shows opening doors and some plastic details, as the body, fenders, tracks, front wheels and bumper-headlights group. Interesting middle way between toy and collection model, the truck reproduces in detail the historical GAZ-60, rustic half-track brought out by Gor'kij (now Nižnij Novgorod) state car industries, between 1939 and 1940, in just 1000 units: a vehicle plagued by voracious fuel consumption and low mechanical reliability, which, however, was recruited to flank the Red Army in the harsh trial of the Winter War against Finland. Still complete with its original box - on which, after 1991, a label with the producer's post-Soviet address, in the new Sant Petersburg, was added, for commercial purposes -, the article, showing only a tiny abrasion on the cab roof - see photos -, is sold in excellent conditions: an unmissable occasion, for the vintage models collector, as well as for the hunter of rare Ostalgie pieces!
