Beautiful US Army WWII staff car model, produced in 2000 by the French company Solido. Made of die-cast zamak alloy, the reproduction, in 1:19 scale, imitates in detail a Ford V8 4-door-sedan (1934) recruited as a US Army service car, in the typical olive drab livery. Now hard to find, the model shows high quality finishes, from the elegant shield-shaped grille, with lots of greyhound hood ornament, to the refined whitewall tires with “V8” marked hubcaps, from the sinuous chrome-effect bumpers, to the stylish chocolate interiors: steering wheels and opening front doors complete the realism of the piece. Except for a pair of minimum moisture traces on the stickers and the left headlight, the model, never played, is sold in excellent preservation conditions: a real occasion, for the collector, to get his/her hands on a true military rarity, what's more, still made in France!
