Rare specimen of the 1979 Bobba catalogue Cartoline da collezione. First Italian national catalogue dedicated to the world of collectible postcards, the volume, edited by Astigiani numismatist Cesare Bobba (1920-1991), gathers, diving them by type (such as <cartoline illustrate, militari, pubblicitarie, umoristiche...), more than a century of Italian postcards, in their historical significance and aesthetic variety, specifying, for each release, title, subject, technique, author, printer, year of distribution and value in Italian lire. Endowed with a large photographic section, both b/w and full-color, the tome, except for a small fold at front board low angle and some slight foxing on endpapers, is sold in very good conditions, still complete with the fine Liberty-style postcard published by Bobba himself in occasion of the book's release.
