Beautiful “Bayerisch-Hofbräu Kempten” beer stein, of German production, dating back to the 1920s. Manufactured, according to tradition, in stoneware, the mug, hand-turned, cylindrical in shape, has a capacity of 1 liter, and is provided with a wide handle: the inscription «1 L.» on the stein's front, instead of the grip's left, is proof of all the find's oldness. Bierkrüge as this one are still nowadays customized by producers, and supplied to pubs and festivals to serve their own beverages, for advertising purposes. Not showing any breaks, the article for sale, reporting only one imperfection at the lower part of the decoration - probably a firing defect -, bears, printed in blue, the trademark of the ancient Bayerisch-Hofbräu (also reported as Bayerisch-Hof-Bräu and Brauerei Bayrischer Hof) brewery of Kempten, Bavaria, established back in 1472 and took over by Allgäuer Brauhaus Group in 1971. In short, a magnificent collection piece for all beer maniacs!
