Beautiful “Schwaben Bräu meistertreu” beer stein, of West German production, dating back to the 1960s-1970s. Manufactured, according to tradition, in stoneware, in this case featuring an elegant glossy finish, the mug, of cylindrical shape, has a capacity of 1 liter, and is provided with a wide handle; on the bottom, the item reports the marking «MADE IN GERMANY». Bierkrüge as this one are still nowadays customized by producers, and supplied to pubs and festivals to serve their own beverages, for promotional purposes. Not showing any breaks, the piece for sale bears, printed in red, the coeval graphics of the historical Schwaben Bräu brewery of Vaihingen, near Stuttgart, established in 1878 by Robert Leicht, and still running today; below the logo, in blue, we find instead the advertising slogan «schwaben bräu meistertreu» - that is, roughly, “Swabian beer faithful to the masters”. For all beer maniacs, it must be said, a really... appetizing occasion!
