Interesting pack of 20 “Cigarettes de troupe”, dating back to the 1950s. Manufactured by the Régie Française des Tabacs, the French state-owned tobacco monopoly, the package, complete with its original content, shows a nice illustrated label with the profiles of military men belonging to the three traditional branches (army, air force and navy), and is sold as new, still provided with the tax ribbon. Going back to the Algerian War years, the piece suits well for the placement in a French militaria collection, as well as in a vintage tobacconist's display.
