Beautiful photographic book about the Lombard metropolis, portrayed at the height of the economic boom of the 60s. Through the shots of some of the most notable Italian photographers of the second post-war period, the volume presents the visage of a sparkling, contradictory, monumental yet dynamic city, seducing the reader with unexpected perspectives, contrasts and bold juxtapositions of ancient and contemporary. Enchantingly modernist, the tome, bound in a beautiful hardcover with textblock in strong paper, the volume is sold in very good general conditions, with just a few scratches on the front cover - embellished with a fine, embossed, golden medallion applied - and some foxing on boards and endpapers, such, however, as not to undermine the beauty of the edition. Definitely a must-have, both for Milan’s and avant-garde photography’s lovers!
